Evaluation: Uzo Nwapa brings physicality and downhill pressure

Detroit, MI — Uzo Nwapa, a 6’4 guard in the 2027 class, had a strong showing on Day 1 of PRO16 in Detroit.

Nwapa stood out with his physical approach. He plays through contact, attacks gaps, and doesn’t shy away from initiating offense. His size allows him to absorb bumps and still finish plays.

He also competed consistently, showing effort on both ends. Guards with this type of physicality and motor are always valuable, and Nwapa showed he can impact the game beyond just scoring.
