Spar UniGirona has added Spanish power forward Maria Pendande to its roster for the 2025-26 LF Endesa season.
The 25-year-old returns to Spain after competing with Fuerza Regia in Mexico’s LNBPF, where she averaged 8.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals over 21 games, playing a key role in their run to the semifinals.
Pendande is no stranger to the Spanish league, having previously played for IDK Euskotren San Sebastian, where she posted 10.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game across 30 appearances in LF Endesa. She’s also suited up for Barca CBS in past seasons.
Internationally, she represented Spain at both the senior and youth levels, including stints with the Senior National Team from 2022 to 2023 and the U19 team in 2019.
A standout during her college career, Pendande reached the ACC Tournament final in 2022 and earned Pac-12 All-Freshman honors in 2020.
