Michael Young earns FIBA Europe Cup weekly award.

Veteran American forward Michael Young (206 cm, PF, born 1994) delivered a standout performance for KK Bosnia Meridianbet Sarajevo in the opening round of FIBA Europe Cup Qualifying, earning the Hoops Agents Player of the Week honor.

The 31-year-old posted a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds as Bosna rolled past Mechelen 82–57. In his debut season with the club, Young shot an efficient 54.5% on two-point attempts and quickly established himself as the team’s key contributor. A University of Pittsburgh product, he currently ranks among the league leaders: fifth in scoring (22.0 ppg), second in rebounding (11.0 rpg), while hitting 54.5% from the field and a perfect 100% from three-point range.

Other notable efforts came from American guard CJ Williamson (196 cm, born 2000) of BK Dnipro, who tallied 25 points and 11 rebounds despite a 69–83 loss to Brasov. A newcomer, Williamson is already one of the league’s top scorers at 25.0 ppg and adds 11.0 boards per game.

Rounding out the top three performances was Ross Williams (178 cm, G, born 2000) of Basket Brno, who scored 24 points and dished four assists to lead his team to an 83–75 victory over Parnu. Though only his first Qualifying Round game, Williams has already shown potential as a team leader.
