
Fenerbahce Istanbul has signed Australian international guard Rebecca Allen for the upcoming KBSL season, her agency LBM Management confirmed. The 32-year-old, standing at 188cm, becomes the team’s second foreign addition after Belgian guard Julie Allemand. Allen joins from the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, where she averaged 5.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists across 44 games last season.
Allen has been a key figure for Australia’s national team for over a decade. She has represented the Opals consistently since 2014, having first appeared on the international stage with the U19 team in 2011. At the 2022 FIBA Women’s World Cup in Sydney, she helped Australia capture a bronze medal while averaging 8 points per game.
A veteran of international basketball, Allen brings vast experience across multiple continents. She has competed professionally in Australia, France, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, and the United States, playing for clubs such as Valencia, Lyon, Gdynia, and the New York Liberty. She won a Spanish league championship with Valencia in 2024 and was named to the Eurobasket.com LF Endesa All-Imports Team in 2022.
