No. Phone recordings, game clips and rough highlights are enough to get your first rating. Upload what you have, and we will guide you on what to capture next so every new clip makes your profile stronger.
Your first Scoutz review is typically completed within 24 to 48 hours after you finish your profile and upload film.
From there you can keep uploading through the season. Each new review is meant to move your film and profile forward, so you are never left guessing whether anyone watched.
Verified college coaches from NCAA Division I through Division III, NAIA and JUCO programs, plus professional coaches and scouts, can discover your profile on Scoutz. They browse and search by position, class year, rating and location.
Every athlete also receives weekly school matches picked for their level, and coaches who show interest can watch your film and review your full profile.
Creating your profile, uploading film and getting your first evaluation are free. Free athletes see every one of their four weekly school matches, so you always know which programs fit. A subscription unlocks contacting coaches directly, doubles your weekly matches to eight, and opens the full recruiting toolkit.
